Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you generate a figure, we process your text prompt, selected style, aspect ratio, IP address, and a random browser identifier. If you create an account, we store your generated-figure history, name, email, sign-in method, password hash when applicable, and session records. We also retain order references, purchased products, payment status, credits, and download entitlements to fulfill and support purchases. Google sign-in may also provide your profile image and authentication tokens. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity process page views, device and browser information, approximate location, and interactions with the site. Clarity may also create masked session recordings and heatmaps.

Our conversion dashboard records page paths and product milestones using pseudonymous browser or account identifiers. These events do not include your prompts or image contents. Browser analytics follows your analytics preference; operational records also help us deliver figures and diagnose failures.

How we use information

We use this information to generate and deliver figures, enforce preview and paid-credit access, verify clean-download access, fulfill purchases, provide account history, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate product performance. We do not send marketing emails.

Service providers

Before generation or editing, we send the generation text prompt to Waffo Pancake for content safety screening. Waffo documents this check as stateless, without retaining the prompt text after returning a verdict. We log the verdict and check identifier for troubleshooting, without including the prompt text in these safety logs.

Prompts and generated media may be processed by Kie.ai for GPT Image generation. Files are stored with Vercel Blob, quota records with Upstash Redis, and account, session, and saved-figure records with Neon Postgres. Google processes authentication data when you choose Google sign-in. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights collect aggregate site usage and performance signals. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity collect usage data only after you allow analytics. Clarity masks sensitive content by default, and advertising storage and personalization remain disabled. Clean figures are encrypted before they are stored with Vercel Blob.

Waffo Pancake processes checkout, billing, subscription management, and refunds. We send your account email, an account identifier, the selected product, and order references to create checkout and associate a confirmed payment with your account. Waffo may collect payment and billing details directly and send us payment status and order information. We do not store full card numbers or security codes. Retention

In-progress generation task records expire after 24 hours. Unclaimed guest figures can be attached to an account for 24 hours and are queued for deletion after that window. Saved account figures and account records stay stored until deletion is requested. Infrastructure providers may retain operational logs according to their own policies.

Your choices

You can use the generator without creating an account. To ask for deletion of an account or related records, contact support@scientificfiguregenerator.com. You can decline analytics on your first visit or reopen Analytics preferences from the footer to change your choice at any time.
