What we collect
When you generate a figure, we process your text prompt, selected style, aspect ratio, IP address, and a random browser identifier. If you verify your email, we store that address as a product lead and use it to unlock additional daily generations and clean downloads.
How we use information
We use this information to generate and deliver figures, enforce daily usage limits, verify download access, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate product performance. We do not send marketing emails.
Service providers
Prompts and generated media may be processed by APIMart and its Seedream image provider. Files are stored with Vercel Blob, quota and verification records with Upstash Redis, and verification email is delivered by Resend. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights collect aggregate site usage and performance signals. Clean figures are encrypted before they are stored with Vercel Blob.
Retention
Verification codes expire after 10 minutes. In-progress generation task records expire after 24 hours, and generated-image access records expire after 7 days. Infrastructure providers may retain operational logs according to their own policies. Email leads stay stored until deletion is requested.
Your choices
You can use the generator without providing an email. To ask for deletion of an email lead or related records, contact hello@scientificfiguregenerator.com.
